A simple, layered breakfast or dessert that celebrates fresh berries. The key is layering yogurt, then berries, then granola to keep the granola perfectly crisp. Ready in just 10 minutes for a nourishing and beautiful treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups plain Greek yogurt (full-fat recommended)
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup or honey, plus more to taste
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups mixed fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
  • 0.75 cup granola
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, maple syrup (or honey), and vanilla extract until smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness if desired.
  2. Gently wash the berries and pat them dry. Hull and slice strawberries if using.
  3. To assemble, spoon a generous layer of the sweetened yogurt into the bottom of each serving glass.
  4. Add a thick layer of mixed berries, pressing them down slightly into the yogurt.
  5. Top with a hearty sprinkle of granola to finish.
  6. Garnish with a mint leaf if using, and serve immediately for the best texture.

Notes

For make-ahead, store the sweetened yogurt and washed berries separately in the fridge for up to 3 days. Assemble just before serving to keep the granola crunchy. For a dairy-free version, use a thick plant-based yogurt.
