This festive beverage costs less than ten dollars to make and serves a whole crowd of holiday guests. Using affordable lime sherbet and store-brand lemon-lime soda keeps the budget friendly while delivering maximum Christmas cheer.

Ingredients

  • 1 pint lime sherbet
  • 1 liter Sprite, 7-Up, or other lemon-lime soda
  • 2 cups pineapple juice, chilled
  • Red sanding sugar for rimming glasses (optional)

Instructions

  1. If desired, rim your glasses by rubbing a lime wedge around the edge and dipping them in red sanding sugar.
  2. In a large punch bowl, place scoops of the lime sherbet.
  3. Slowly pour the chilled pineapple juice and lemon-lime soda over the sherbet.
  4. Ladle into prepared glasses, making sure to get a scoop of sherbet in each one.

Notes
